AWBC does not provide a salary for its volunteers; it covers their expenses, including airfare, visas, vaccinations, travel and medical insurance, medicines, housing, and local transportation.
When there are current placements available we shall advertise them in “Featured News” on our Home Page and ask candidates to fill out an application form.
If you wish to be put on a Roster for upcoming placements, you should fill out the short application form [Word Doc] and send it with your curriculum vita to inquiry ( at ) awbc-usfc (dot) org. Before sending in your application, please look at the qualifications page. The information in your application will be put in a data base. We shall contact you when a placement comes up for someone with your qualifications. If the post interests you, we shall ask you to fill out a long application form.
Applicants for AWBC/AUF placements, who are not retired, must be current faculty members at institutions of higher education that are members of AUF. This does not apply to retired applicants, who need not be academics nor connected to institutions of higher education that are members of AUF. Applicants for AWBC/AUF projects must be francophones.
