Michelle Dupuis

Michelle has spent her career working in international development and community development.  She has worked in Bolivia and Canada, but was raised in six different countries in Latin America.  Michelle holds both a BA in political science and an MBA with a focus on management for developing economies from McGill University.

She believes in development as a long-term process focused on building local capacity and has experienced the brain drain to countries that do not have adequate tertiary education institutions.  In all of her past positions she has been the linchpin for successfully identifying funding opportunities, developing proposals, ensuring requirements are met, reporting results and stewarding relationships with donors.  She also has experience with monitoring and evaluation both in the field and directly at a community level.
